We, Olivier & Nichada, are the new owners!
D&K SMILEY PHUKET RESORT (before named SMILE HOUSE & POOL) is a bungalow complex in a quiet location in Rawai, Phuket. For your relaxation, there is a large pool surrounded by a beautiful garden.
We pride ourselves on the calm, relaxed atmosphere, with a view of the hills and the Big Buddha.
The resort is located between Chalong and Rawai on the South-East point of Phuket. Chalong Pier is the main starting point for boat, fishing, and scuba diving trips.
Rawai Beach is the place where longtail boats can be booked for local island visits. Rawai also proposes a great varity of restaurants, bars, and shops.
Nai Harn Beach is only 10 minutes away by car / motorbike. Kata Beach, 20 minutes.
Many activities are nearby: elephant trekking, horse riding, fishing, snorkeling, and scuba diving - to name a few.

Our Double Rooms and Bungalows
All accommodation are located around the pool in a beautiful garden.
The resort offers:
Two individual double rooms, sharing a large veranda.
Four individual bungalows: since October 2025, one has been fitted with a new kitchenette.
Two large bungalows, each composed of two double rooms, each with en-suite batrooms, living / dinning / kitchen, and a veranda.
All accommodations have large king size beds, bathroom, refrigerator, air conditioning, ceiling fan, smart TV and a private veranda.
The two-bedroom bungalows have their own kitchen / dinning / living room, and each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom.
Lounge Bar and Swimming Pool
Our Lounge Bar is open to all guests, where they can enjoy a great espresso, a drink, watch TV, play cards or just share a meal.
The pool is located in the middle of our beautiful garden. It is a deep pool: half of it is 2.40m deep! So no worries if a guest desire to dive.

I absolutely loved this resort/ bungalow. Definately somewhere I would return to next time I’m in Phuket. Independent, yet supported from the lovely owners. Perfectly situated a minute or so from the busy main road giving it a peaceful and tranquil setting and still easily accessible to other places in the south of Phuket !
Highly recommend
The two owners and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The resort is beautifully done (a small quiet paradise) and you feel at home there. We rented a scooter directly at the resort. It takes about 15 minutes to get to Kata Noi and Kata Beach where more is happening. Olivier (the always cheerful Swiss) and Nichada (the manager and good soul of the resort) are open to any questions and are available to provide tips and information at any time.
Had a great time. Nui is awesome and the place is a tropical hidden haven.
If you can get yourself a driver get out during the day and come back ‘home’ to chill by the pool or your private bungalow.
Great for families. Good value.
Tip: Be prepared to make your own arrangements for meals. Shops are not in walking distance and cooking facilities aren’t the best - but, hey, you’re on vacation and GRAB delivers!!!
Nui will help you with anything you need. Just ask - she gets it done!
Calm complex. The pool was very well maintained, with a separate area for young children. The complex is a bit off the beaten path, on a side street, but there is no noise from the main road. There is a view of the Big Buddha. The beach is within walking distance, on the other side of the main road.
